Our client is an established financial institution looking to hire an experienced KYC professional to guide the private banking business on onboarding KYC requirements.

This role sits within the second line of defense, will work closely with the head of compliance and have abundant exposure towards senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

Support the business on account opening and CDD matters including documentation.

Review Client Onboarding processes to identify areas for streamlining and improve efficiency.
Advise on AML/KYC regulatory requirements especially on any recent or upcoming guidelines issued by the MAS
Perform WorldCheck screenings in a Checker capacity and escalate to the Head of Compliance in the event of any material finding.

Role requirements

10 years of AML/KYC, onboarding experience ideally from the private banking industry.
Japanese language skills will be advantageous as the role will involve liaising with Japanese business stakeholders.
Broad AML experience covering all aspects of AML/KYC, client onboarding and related documentation.
