About Our Client
Our client is a well-established corporate and wholesale bank with a strong regional presence and a reputation for a collaborative and stable culture. As part of its continued investment in operations, the bank is enhancing its settlements capabilities while driving process improvements and transformation initiatives.
This is a newly created role within the operations team, offering the opportunity to combine hands-on settlements expertise with involvement in change and efficiency-driven projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day settlements operations across products such as securities and/or FX & treasury
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions, with strong control and risk awareness
- Investigate and resolve breaks, exceptions, and operational issues
- Drive process improvement and reengineering initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Support transformation projects aimed at streamlining workflows and improving systems
- Partner with internal stakeholders including front office, risk, and technology teams
- Contribute to strengthening operational controls, governance, and best practices
Requirements
- 510 years of experience in operations within corporate / wholesale banking
- Strong hands-on experience in settlements across securities, FX, or treasury products
- Good understanding of end-to-end trade lifecycle and operational processes
- Exposure to process improvement, automation, or transformation initiatives
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
