Role Overview
The firm is seeking an experienced AVP / VP, Data Management professional to support its Public Markets investment platform. This role will be responsible for managing investment data infrastructure, ensuring data quality and governance, and enabling investment teams to access reliable and timely information across equities, fixed income, and multi-asset strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the management, integrity, and governance of investment data across the public markets platform
- Maintain and enhance data pipelines for market, reference, pricing, and corporate actions data
- Partner with investment teams to ensure timely availability and accuracy of data used in research, portfolio construction, and risk management
- Manage relationships with external data vendors and oversee data onboarding and integration processes
- Develop and maintain data quality controls, validation checks, and reconciliation frameworks
- Collaborate with technology teams to improve data architecture, automation, and workflow efficiency
- Support investment analytics, reporting, and regulatory data requirements
Requirements
- 612 years of experience in data management, investment data, or data operations within asset management, hedge funds, or financial institutions
- Strong understanding of public markets data including equities, fixed income, market data, pricing, and corporate actions
- Experience working with investment data vendors and financial data platforms
- Familiarity with data management tools, SQL, and data workflow automation is highly desirable
- Knowledge of investment systems such as order management, portfolio management, or risk platforms is an advantage
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work closely with investment teams
- High attention to detail and a strong focus on data accuracy and governance
