Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Private Credit to join our growing investment team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, structuring, and executing private credit transactions, working with borrowers, sponsors, and intermediaries across diverse sectors. You will play a critical role in building our private credit pipeline, driving origination strategy, and shaping investment product offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Origination:
- Proactively source private credit deal opportunities via a network of sponsors, borrowers, intermediaries, and advisors.
- Identify and assess borrowers funding needs and align them with our platforms credit appetite.
- Structuring & Execution:
- Lead transaction structuring, including term sheet negotiation, covenant design, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with legal, credit, and operations teams to execute deals end-to-end.
- Market Coverage:
- Maintain a strong understanding of trends in private credit, structured finance, and alternative lending.
- Develop sector-specific strategies for high-opportunity verticals (e.g., real assets, growth capital, working capital).
- Stakeholder Management:
- Build and manage relationships with institutional partners, family offices, and private investors.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience:
- 36 years of experience in private credit, structured finance, private debt, or leveraged finance.
- Proven track record of originating and executing private credit transactions.
- Skills:
- Strong financial modeling and credit analysis capabilities.
- Deep understanding of credit structuring, documentation, and risk assessment.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
- Background:
- Experience at an investment bank, private credit fund, alternative lender, or fintech platform preferred.
