Automation Test Lead

We are seeking an experiencedAutomation Test Leadto lead and drive end-to-end test automation initiatives across UI, API, and backend systems. This role combineshands-on automation expertise,test strategy ownership, andteam leadership, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and reliable software delivery in an Agile environment.

• Lead and manage the automation testing team, providing technical direction, mentoring, and performance guidance.

• Design, develop, and maintain robustUI automation frameworksusingSelenium and Core Java.

• Implement and executeAPI automation testingusingPostmanand relevant automation libraries.

• Drive adoption of automation best practices, coding standards, and framework optimization.

• Continuously improve automation coverage, execution efficiency, and test reliability.
  
  

• Perform and overseefunctional, integration, and regression testingto ensure product quality and stability.

• Prepare and owntest strategies, test plans, and detailed test casesaligned with business and technical requirements.

• Ensure comprehensive test coverage, including edge cases and critical business scenarios.

• Executebackend validationby writing and runningSQL queriesonOracle/SQL databases.
  
  

• Integrate automated test suites withCI/CD pipelinesto enable continuous testing.

• UseGitHubfor version control, code reviews, and collaboration.

• Monitor automation execution results and ensure timely analysis and reporting.
  
  

• Work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders inAgile/Scrumenvironments.

• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Proactively identify quality risks and collaborate with teams to resolve them early in the SDLC.
  
  

• Track, manage, and report defects throughout the testing lifecycle.

• Ensure timely defect resolution and effective communication with stakeholders.

• Provide clear test status updates, quality metrics, and risk assessments.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree inComputer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.

• 8+ yearsof overall IT experience, with5+ yearsinAutomation Testing.

• Strong hands-on experience withCore JavaandSeleniumfor UI automation.

• Proven experience inAPI testing and automationusingPostmanor similar tools.

• Solid understanding offunctional, integration, and regression testingmethodologies.

• Strong experience in preparingtest strategies, test plans, and test cases.

• Hands-on experience withGitHubfor version control and collaboration.

• Strong knowledge ofSQL and Oracle databasesfor backend testing and data validation.

• Experience working inAgile methodologies(Scrum/Kanban).
