We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Lead to drive the design, development, and implementation of automation testing frameworks for banking applications. The successful candidate will lead automation initiatives, ensure high-quality delivery across testing cycles, and collaborate closely with development and business teams in an Agile environment.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver.
Define automation strategy and best practices across projects.
Develop automation test scripts using Java or Python with TestNG or JUnit.
Execute automated test cases and analyse test results to identify defects.
Lead and mentor a team of automation testers.
Coordinate testing activities across distributed teams and ensure timely delivery.
Work closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Manage defect lifecycle using tools such as JIRA or ALM.
Continuously improve testing processes within the SDLC and STLC lifecycle.
Promote automation best practices and quality engineering standards.
Minimum 10 years of overall testing experience, including 7+ years in test automation leadership roles.
Strong hands-on expertise in
Selenium WebDriver
Java or Python
TestNG or JUnit
Experience working on banking domain applications, including core banking, payments, loans, or digital banking platforms.
Strong knowledge of
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
Agile methodologies
Hands-on experience with defect management tools such as JIRA or ALM.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proven ability to lead distributed teams and manage multiple priorities.
Experience working within banking or financial services environments.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation integration in DevOps environments will be advantageous.
