About the Role:
Our client are seeking a hands-on Automation Mechanical Engineer to join their global team. The role begins with classroom training in Shenzhen, China, followed by direct execution of automation equipment installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting at sites in both China and India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute installation, commissioning, and relocation of automation equipment both in China and India
- Troubleshoot and optimize robotic arms, feeders, vision systems, and dispensing equipment
- Modify and maintain PLC (Mitsubishi, Omron, Inovance) programs and HMI interfaces
- Perform hardware debugging and adjust equipment parameters based on engineering guidance
- Maintain accurate documentation and provide training to on-site teams after commissioning
- Translate and execute Mandarin technical documentation, diagrams, and instructions during hands-on equipment setup and troubleshooting
- Interpret and apply Mandarin engineering instructions to program PLCs, configure equipment, and perform on-site adjustments during execution phases in China and India.
Requirements:
- Diploma or above in Mechanical Manufacturing, Electrical Automation, or related fields
- Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in automation equipment installation, commissioning, or maintenance
- Basic PLC and HMI programming knowledge
- Comfortable with electrical/mechanical debugging and problem solving in live environments
- Ability to work independently and take full responsibility for on-site execution
- Proficient in reading and understanding Mandarin with at least B3 grade in O Level Chinese or equivalent to accurately interpret and apply technical documentation
