Job Overview

At Howden, we're transforming the way we work through data, automation and AI. We're looking for an Automation & Business Intelligence Developer with at least 2 years experience to help build dashboards, automate business processes and deliver insights that drive better decision-making across the organization. This role will work closely with teams across Broking, Finance, Operations, Claims and Compliance to improve efficiency and support business growth.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Contribute to Digital Transformation by building Insightful Analytics,drives Automation & Efficiency.

• Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and management reporting solutions.
• Support data quality, reporting governance and business insights
• Build automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform
• Improve operational processes through workflow automation
• Translate business requirements into practical technology solutions
• Explore and support AI and intelligent automation opportunities across the business
• Explore emerging technologies, including Microsoft Copilot and AI solutions.
• Promote best practices in analytics, automation, governance and continuous improvement.

Partner with the Business.

• Engage stakeholders to understand business challenges and requirements.
• Translate operational needs into practical and scalable solutions.
• Support projects from discovery and design through testing, deployment and adoption.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Diploma or degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2+ years experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics or Process Automation.
• Insurance or financial services experience is an advantage.
• Strong skills in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL, Power Automate, Advanced Excel.
• Experience partnering with business users and stakeholders.
