We are seeking a CAD Drafter to support project delivery through the preparation and management of technical drawings for tunnel construction works. You will produce and revise AutoCAD drawings based on issued designs and coordinate closely with engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure drawings are accurate and aligned with project requirements and authority standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare shop drawings including RC shop drawings, construction plans, reinforcement layouts, excavation drawings, and steelwork detailing based on issued designs and instructions.
- Produce and update AutoCAD (2D) drawings for project documentation and construction use.
- Coordinate with design engineers and architects to ensure drawing accuracy and alignment with design intent.
- Manage drawing revisions, version control, and preparation of submission packages.
- Ensure drawings comply with Singapore standards and authority requirements (e.g. BCA, LTA, PUB).
- Liaise with Project Managers, engineers, and subcontractors to support design coordination and execution.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of drafting experience, preferably within Singapore's construction or engineering consultancy environment.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM tools.
- Good understanding of building codes, drafting standards, and technical drawing conventions.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with project teams.
- Open to working 5.5D (MonFri: 8am6pm, Sat: 8am12pm)
