Our client, a well-established and growing corporate services provider, is looking to appoint a Financial Services Audit Partner to lead and grow their audit practice focused on banking and insurance clients. This is a strategic leadership position offering the opportunity to shape client relationships, drive technical excellence, and mentor a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage audit engagements for financial services clients, with a strong focus on the banking and insurance sectors
- Serve as a key advisor to clients, offering insights on regulatory, financial reporting, and risk-related matters
- Oversee quality assurance and technical excellence across all engagements
- Develop and strengthen client relationships, contributing to business development and growth
- Manage and mentor audit teams, ensuring efficient workflows and high-quality deliverables
- Stay abreast of developments in financial regulations, accounting standards, and market trends relevant to the FS sector
Requirements:
- Recognized accounting qualification (e.g. CA, CPA, ACCA)
- Minimum 12 years of audit experience, with a strong focus on financial services, especially banking and/or insurance
- Prior experience in a public accounting or corporate services firm is essential
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., MAS, IFRS/FSR, risk frameworks)
- Excellent client management, interpersonal, and communication skills
