You will work in a multidisciplinary team to provide diagnostic and rehabilitative audiological services to patients.
Job Description:
- Perform diagnostic hearing assessment such as otoscopic examination, tympanometry and pure tone audiometry for patients from various referral modes (FS, NIC and RSC).
- Provide hearing related services such as hearing aid evaluation, hearing aid fitting, and hearing aid follow-up to patients.
- Appropriate referral of patients to other departments whenever necessary such as ENT, MSW, AIC etc.
- Right siting of stable hearing loss cases from ENT, SGH to Community Hearing Clinic, TBCHC.
- Keeping track of the data for all referral modes.
- Ordering and receiving hearing aids and accessories.
- Liaise with BME and vendors for equipment setup, calibration and maintenance.
- Ensuring the hearing aid software are up to date.
- Assist in audiology related project, research etc.
- Attend to walk-in, e-mail and phone enquiries from patients.
- Manage day to day audiology schedule.
- Sited in community clinics and/or SGH.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor Degree in audiology or Graduate entry Master's in audiology, speech language & hearing or educational audiology
