Job Description

You will work in a multidisciplinary team to provide diagnostic and rehabilitative audiological services to patients.

Job Description:

  • Perform diagnostic hearing assessment such as otoscopic examination, tympanometry and pure tone audiometry for patients from various referral modes (FS, NIC and RSC).
  • Provide hearing related services such as hearing aid evaluation, hearing aid fitting, and hearing aid follow-up to patients.
  • Appropriate referral of patients to other departments whenever necessary such as ENT, MSW, AIC etc.
  • Right siting of stable hearing loss cases from ENT, SGH to Community Hearing Clinic, TBCHC.
  • Keeping track of the data for all referral modes.
  • Ordering and receiving hearing aids and accessories.
  • Liaise with BME and vendors for equipment setup, calibration and maintenance.
  • Ensuring the hearing aid software are up to date.
  • Assist in audiology related project, research etc.
  • Attend to walk-in, e-mail and phone enquiries from patients.
  • Manage day to day audiology schedule.
  • Sited in community clinics and/or SGH.

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor Degree in audiology or Graduate entry Master's in audiology, speech language & hearing or educational audiology
