About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Audio Visual & Multimedia Technical Sales Engineer to lead our sales efforts in AV systems and multimedia solutions. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge of audio-visual technologies with excellent sales and business development skills to drive revenue growth and deliver high-quality solutions to clients.
Key Responsibilities
. Develop and execute sales strategies for audio visual, multimedia, and integrated technology solutions.
. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in corporate, government, hospitality, education, and event sectors.
. Engage with clients to understand their technical requirements and propose suitable AV solutions.
. Prepare and present technical proposals, system designs, and cost estimates.
. Work closely with engineering and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
. Manage relationships with existing clients and key accounts.
. Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical consultations.
. Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
. Stay updated with the latest AV technologies, multimedia trends, and industry developments.
Requirements
. Diploma or Degree in Audio Visual Technology, Electronics, Multimedia Engineering, or related field.
. Minimum 2 years experience in AV or multimedia system sales. Fresh grad welcome.
. Strong technical knowledge of
. Professional audio systems
. Video conferencing systems
. LED displays & projection systems
. Control systems (Crestron, Extron, etc.)
. AV over IP and networked AV technologies
. Proven track record in technical sales and business development.
. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
. Ability to prepare system proposals and technical documentation.
. Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
. Experience in system integration projects.
. Knowledge of broadcast, streaming, or multimedia production systems.
. Existing network with consultants, contractors, or corporate clients.
