Team Overview

SPH Lifestyle Media connects audiences with content, communities, and brand partners in meaningful, impactful ways. Events are a key pillar of this mission turning editorial narratives into immersive, on-the-ground experiences that monetise audiences, strengthen brand DNA, and grow engaged communities.

The Audience Activation Team will be responsible for delivering small-to-mid-scale editorial-led events, ensuring end-to-end execution, sponsor fulfilment, and audience engagement. The Manager and Executive roles work together to ensure high-quality, consistent event delivery across Lifestyle Media.

About the Job

Leads the strategic development and commercial success of small-to-mid-scale events, acting as the primary liaison with sponsors, editorial, and audience growth teams. Responsible for pre-event planning, post-event insights, ROI analysis, and continuous improvement of event strategy.

Roles & Responsibilities

Strategy and commercial partnership

  • Collaborate with Commercial, Editorial, and Audience Growth teams to translate editorial narratives and brand objectives into profitable events.
  • Manage sponsor relationships and ensure fulfilment, satisfaction, and repeat partnerships.
  • Oversee budgets and financial discipline for each event.
  • Pre-event planning: ensure that client needs, sponsor expectations, and editorial brand requirements are clearly captured and incorporated into the event plan, set-up, programming, invitations, RSVPs, and branding collateral.

On-site + Post-event performance and reporting

  • Ensure the event reflects Lifestyle Media's and the sponsor's brand standards, while observing and capturing audience feedback and engagement to inform future events.
  • Capture audience and sponsor feedback to inform continuous improvement for future events.
  • Deliver post-event reports including KPIs, audience insights, and sponsor visibility.

Who we are looking for

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in event management, brand activations, or experiential marketing (preferably lifestyle, media, PR, or publishing).
  • Proven ability to drive commercial outcomes and deliver impactful events.
  • Strong strategic, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Comfortable with flexible hours and hands-on involvement in event execution.

  • Deliver small-to-mid-scale editorial events that drive commercial and audience engagement outcomes.
  • Grow engaged communities through increased awareness, loyalty, and audience participation.
  • Maintain high sponsor satisfaction and foster repeat partnerships.
  • Ensure events are executed on-brand, on-time, and audience-relevant.
  • Capture insights that feed into Editorial, Audience Growth, and Commercial strategies.
