Team Overview

SPH Lifestyle Media connects audiences with content, communities, and brand partners in meaningful, impactful ways. Events are a key pillar of this mission turning editorial narratives into immersive, on-the-ground experiences that monetise audiences, strengthen brand DNA, and grow engaged communities.

The Audience Activation Team will be responsible for delivering small-to-mid-scale editorial-led events, ensuring end-to-end execution, sponsor fulfilment, and audience engagement. The Manager and Executive roles work together to ensure high-quality, consistent event delivery across Lifestyle Media.

About the Role

Manages the operational delivery of small-to-mid-scale events, ensuring flawless execution, sponsor satisfaction, and audience engagement. Supports data capture and reporting to contribute to continuous improvement of events.

Roles & Responsibilities

Organisation and logistics

  • Manage all event logistics, including pre-event planning such as event plan, set-up, programming, invitation creation, RSVP management, and branding collateral preparation, as well as vendor sourcing, venue coordination, permits, procurement, insurance, and asset management.
  • Liaise with internal teams (Commercial, Editorial, Audience Growth) and external vendors to ensure alignment.
  • Oversee operational budgets and reconciliation for each event.

On-site execution and audience activation

  • Serve as lead contact on-site, managing setup, troubleshooting, audience experience, and post-event teardown.
  • Ensure the event reflects Lifestyle Media's and the sponsor's brand standards, while observing and capturing audience feedback and engagement to inform future events.
  • Support community engagement and first-party data capture.

Who we are looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in event management, brand activations, or experiential marketing (preferably lifestyle, media, PR, or publishing).
  • Strong operational, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Comfortable with flexible hours, site visits, and hands-on setup/teardown.

  • Deliver small-to-mid-scale editorial events that drive commercial and audience engagement outcomes.
  • Grow engaged communities through increased awareness, loyalty, and audience participation.
  • Maintain high sponsor satisfaction and foster repeat partnerships.
  • Ensure events are executed on-brand, on-time, and audience-relevant.
  • Capture insights that feed into Editorial, Audience Growth, and Commercial strategies.
