Associate/Senior Associate - Dispute Resolution

We Are Hiring!

Incisive Law LLC is seeking motivated and capable lawyers to join our Dispute Resolution practice.

We are looking to recruit:

• Associates: Newly Qualified (NQ) to 3 PQE
• Senior Associates: 4 to 5 PQE

The successful candidates will be involved in a broad range of dispute resolution matters and will have the opportunity to work closely with our directors on complex and challenging cases.

We are looking for individuals who are proactive, resourceful and able to take ownership of their work. The ideal candidates should possess strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Candidates should also demonstrate:

• Strong analytical, legal research and drafting skills;
• Excellent file and case management skills;
• Meticulous attention to detail;
• The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team; and
• A strong sense of initiative, responsibility and commitment to delivering quality work.

Role & Responsibilities – Dispute Resolution

The successful candidates will be responsible for:

• Managing the day-to-day conduct of litigation and dispute resolution matters;
• Drafting, reviewing and preparing court documents, pleadings, submissions and other legal correspondence;
• Conducting legal research and analysing relevant legislation and case law;
• Assisting in and, where appropriate, representing clients in mediation, arbitration and court proceedings;
• Managing case files, documents and procedural timelines;
• Attending client meetings and assisting with client communications; and
• Working closely with the Dispute Resolution directors and clients on case strategy, risk assessment and the overall conduct of matters.

Requirements

• Qualified to practise law in Singapore;
• Based in Singapore; and
• Relevant dispute resolution experience (commensurate with the position applied for).
