Associate / Senior Associate (Regulatory Compliance)

Career Level: Associate / Senior Associate

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide consultancy advisory to a portfolio of clients in the financial services industry
• Prepare and submit regulatory filings and notifications
• Develop and review regulatory governance frameworks, registers, policies and procedures for financial institutions
• Perform reviews of business processes and controls to identify gaps and evaluate risks
• Liaise and correspond with regulatory authorities and external auditors
• Assist to monitor regulatory developments
• Perform ad-hoc projects, including but not limited to regulatory mock inspections, AML/CFT due diligence reviews
• Assist with other ad-hoc duties as required

 Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/ finance, business, legal or a related field
• Open to entry-level candidates and those with 1-2 years of professional experience
• Experience in regulatory compliance with financial institutions, Big 4 audit firms or MAS will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of local MAS regulatory requirements for capital markets entities
• Proficiency in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written). We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
