Duties and Responsibilities - The primary responsibilities of the position will include:

. New deal research and analysis - validation of industry thesis, development of investment angles, competitive industry and market analysis leading to a recommendation

. Transaction execution - financial modeling and analysis, industry analysis, assisting in documentation and transaction structuring, leading diligence in specific areas

. Portfolio management - day to day monitoring of portfolio companies, following of global industry trends and competitive landscape, analysis and preparation for board meetings

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

Key attributes of the successful candidates would be:

. Postgraduate in finance in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics or a related field / CFA / with excellent academic record.

. Minimum one year of relevant experience in Private Equity / buy-side firms would be advantageous.

. Strong written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of finance and accounting is required ability to interact with top management teams is a must.

. Understanding of business dynamics for multiple industries, characteristics of good investments, and good financial and analytical skills are expected. Proficiency in financial modeling is necessary.
