OVERVIEW
Our client is a Japanese bank providing financial services as well as hands-on client support for Japanese companies expanding into Southeast Asia.
They work closely with HQ and providing market-entry assistance such as overseas inspections, exhibitions, and business matching.
This role will be supporting investment-related research and reporting while also working closely with Japanese corporate clients on their expansion into Singapore and the region.
Responsibilities
Investment & Financing Support
Research, collect, and share information on new investment and financing products.
Assist with due diligence for credit funds, real estate funds, and private equity funds.
Support surveys and assessments related to investment or loan target properties.
Contribute to the expansion of the local institutional investor network.
Provide local support for Shinkin Central Bank's investment and lending activities.
Prepare meeting minutes and investment-related reports.
Support ad-hoc tasks across various departments.
Sales & Client Support
Support the overseas expansion initiatives of Shinkin Banks corporate clients.
Plan and coordinate sales events, business matching, and promotional activities for clients products and services.
Assist clients in promoting their products through cross-border e-commerce platforms.
Conduct research on industry trends, market developments, and competitors relevant to clients businesses.
Source, engage, and maintain relationships with local experts and vendors.
Support loan sales expansion and assist with loan-related negotiations for clients.
Prepare meeting minutes and client-related reports.
Requirements
Professional working proficiency in Japanese and English in order to liaise with Japanese/English speaking stakeholders.
Experience in client support, consulting, financial services, or cross-border business support is preferred.
Ability to prepare structured summaries and reports based on economic news, Bloomberg, and market information.
Strong coordination skills with the ability to work closely with senior stakeholders.

Additional Information
Salary: SGD 4,500 - 5,000 (base)
Bonus: AWS provided no variable bonus
Benefits: Insurance coverage
Annual Leave: 14 days (Year 1), increasing by 1 day annually up to 20 days
Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Overtime: Minimal occasional schedule adjustments required
Weekend Work: 2-3 times per year (mainly for events)
