Associate Engineer, Process (12 Hours Shift)

Join a dynamic production team where you will play a key role in supporting silicon wafer production while ensuring optimal process integrity and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform 12-hour shift duties to ensure efficient silicon wafer production within the module. Assist engineers in qualifying and fine-tuning production processes. Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues, minimising equipment downtime. Monitor and enhance qualified processes using Statistical Process Control (SPC) and other analytical tools. Collaborate with specialists to meet module objectives while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Contribute to the implementation of process improvement projects. Participate in Quality Improvement Teams (QIT) to boost productivity and output quality. Collaborate with Quality Assurance on internal audits. Maintain cleanliness and safety in the production area, ensuring proper care of tools and equipment.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Microelectronics, or a related engineering discipline. 1 to 3 years of experience in semiconductor wafer fabrication or high-volume electronics manufacturing. Hands-on experience in equipment/process monitoring, troubleshooting, and sustaining engineering activities. Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes (e.g., lithography, etch, diffusion) is advantageous. Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and basic statistical analysis related to process capability and yield.
