Element has an opportunity for an Associate Engineer / Engineer to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team, the Engineer position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision. The engineer position must be proficient in a number of core business and technical skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures.
- Perform Calibration and Measurement of Dimension gauges and instruments as per WI using CMM, reference master, tester etc (on-site and in-house) with report and necessary administrative work
- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of lab equipment as schedule and assigned
- Ensure proper delivery of service to customer(s)
- Help manager to manage day-to-day calibration work in the labs reference to ISO17025 standard, eg. Quality/ Job Planning/ Job Assignment/ Customer Requirements etc
- Any other duties as assigned by Manager/ Section Head/ Senior staff
Requirement
- 2 to 3 years working knowledge in QC/QA or Calibration / Testing field.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawing and GD&T.
- Ability to analyze and compile Calibration / testing data from the Calibration/ tests performed
- Good to have 2 to 3 years CMM knowledge.
- Good to have ISO17025 and measurement uncertainty knowledge
- Possess strong computer skills
- Basic Mathematical Skills. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry a plus
