Associate Director, Project Finance

A globally recognised project finance platform is seeking an Associate Director to join its Project Finance Asia team in Singapore. The role focuses on structuring and executing limited- and non-recourse financings for renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure projects across the region.

This is a front-line deal role offering exposure to complex transactions, innovative financing structures, and energy transition-driven projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Structure and execute project finance transactions (limited and non-recourse)

• Lead financial modelling, sensitivities, and transaction analysis

• Prepare pitches, term sheets, and credit approval materials

• Manage credit processes and interface with risk stakeholders

• Coordinate project due diligence with external advisors

• Engage directly with sponsors and clients throughout the deal lifecycle

• Proactively manage portfolio performance, reviews, and waivers

• Monitor market and sector developments in renewable energy

Requirements

• Master's degree in Finance or a related discipline

• 8-10 years experience in banking with strong Project Finance / Structured Lending exposure

• Minimum 5 years experience in credit and/or risk

• Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities

• Solid understanding of credit, legal, and lending frameworks

• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management

• Fluent in English
