Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Associate Director of Marketing & Communications to lead integrated marketing, digital, and public relations efforts to drive brand visibility, revenue growth, and guest engagement.

This role plays a critical part in shaping the hotel's market positioning, strengthening brand presence, and delivering impactful campaigns across Rooms, F&B, and Events.

What You Will Do

Drive Strategy & Revenue

  • Lead and execute integrated B2C and B2B marketing strategies aligned with commercial objectives
  • Drive brand awareness, direct bookings, occupancy, and revenue growth
  • Partner with Sales, Revenue, and F&B teams to support business priorities

Own Digital & Performance Marketing

  • Oversee digital ecosystem (website, social, third-party platforms) to maximise traffic and conversion
  • Lead SEM and SEO strategies with clear ROI tracking
  • Analyse performance data and optimise campaigns for effectiveness

Lead PR & Brand Positioning

  • Develop and execute PR strategies to position the hotel as a market leader
  • Build strong media and influencer relationships across key markets
  • Manage press releases, media features, and familiarisation trips
  • Act as hotel spokesperson when required

Create Impactful Campaigns & Content

  • Oversee development of compelling, on-brand content across all channels
  • Lead production of marketing collaterals, campaigns, and storytelling initiatives
  • Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints

Build Partnerships & Visibility

  • Identify and execute strategic partnerships, collaborations, and media trades
  • Drive promotions and campaigns to enhance customer acquisition and loyalty
  • Lead award submissions to strengthen brand recognition

Lead Team & Manage Performance

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Marketing & Communications team
  • Manage external agencies (PR, digital, creative) for quality and performance
  • Own and optimise marketing budget with strong ROI accountability

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 5-7 years experience in Marketing Communications / PR, with leadership exposure
  • Proven ability to drive revenue, brand growth, and campaign performance
  • Strong digital marketing knowledge (SEO, SEM, social, analytics)
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
  • Creative, data-driven, and commercially minded
