Job Description

The Client of ours is one of Largest Technology Manufacturer based across USA, Europe and APAC. They are currently expanding their operations in Singapore and is looking for an experienced Associate Director/Director, Planning.

You are responsible to lead the global manufacturing capacity planning strategy, ensuring capacity is optimized to support business growth and customer demand. This role is responsible for developing scalable planning systems, standardized capacity models, and governance processes while partnering with Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to align short- and long-term capacity plans.

Key Requirements:

  • Lead the global manufacturing capacity planning strategy, including planning frameworks, systems, governance, and standardized factory capacity models to support scalable and data-driven decision making.
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing capacity models using advanced analytical techniques while maintaining accurate capacity master data, identifying constraints, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Own the manufacturing capacity planning process within S&OP, ensuring alignment between demand and capacity, monitoring global capacity utilization, managing risks, and providing scenario analysis to support business and investment decisions.
  • Partner with Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering teams to execute capacity expansion, optimize production loading and asset utilization across factories, manage manufacturing asset data and governance, and support long-range labor and workforce planning.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing supply chain, capacity planning, Industrial Engineering, or operations planning, including 5+ years in a leadership role within a global manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in semiconductor, electronics, or other high-technology manufacturing, with expertise in capacity modelling, forecasting, optimization, and scenario planning.
  • Proficiency in SAP IBP, SAP HANA, SAP ECC, or equivalent enterprise planning systems, with advanced Excel and analytical modelling capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, production planning, and capacity management, with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a matrix organization.
  • Commercially astute, results-oriented, and collaborative, with proven project management skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
