Role & Responsibilities:
- Project management and coordination
- Take a lead role in feasibility studies, design, design development, tender documentation and contract administration
- To liaise and coordinate with external consultants and the client team
- Training and supervision of junior staff
- To maintain high standards
Requirements:
- A registered architect with Board of Architect
- Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience
- Be familiar and current with regulations and codes governing construction and architectural practice
- Preparing and presenting feasibility reports and design proposals to the client
- Represent the firm in advising clients on matters relating to contracts, design and authority compliance
- Supervision and management of applications for planning and building control departments
- Specifying the nature and quality of materials required
- Preparing tender documents for contracts
- Administration of contracts
- Project management and coordination
- Making site visits to monitor progress and workmanship
- Resolving problems and issues that arise during construction
- Meet project schedules and maintain high standards
