The Associate Commercial Director will provide leadership across Sales, Catering and Conference Services, Public Relations, Revenue Management, Reservations, and Marketing, helping to shape and execute strategies that drive revenue, strengthen market positioning, and support the hotel's continued success.
Working closely with the Hotel Manager, Planning Committee, corporate partners, and key stakeholders, this role requires a leader who can translate market insight into action, balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and build strong relationships both within and beyond the hotel. It is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about luxury hospitality, motivated by results, and energised by developing people and creating momentum across the business.
What You Will Do
- Provide day to day leadership, direction, and support to the hotel's commercial functions, ensuring strong collaboration, accountability, and alignment across Sales, Catering and Conference Services, Public Relations, Revenue Management, Reservations, and Marketing.

- Lead proactive business development efforts by building strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders, while identifying new business opportunities and expanding reach into relevant and high-potential markets.
- Support and guide the development and execution of the hotel's annual commercial and marketing plans, ensuring alignment with Four Seasons standards, brand positioning, and business priorities.
- Review performance through forecasting, reporting, competitive analysis, account production, and market intelligence, and translate insights into practical action plans that drive results.
- Represent the hotel in key commercial engagements, including client meetings, presentations, site inspections, familiarisation trips, and sales travel where required.
- Coach, develop, and inspire team members to perform at a high level, while building capability, supporting succession, and fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, agility, and care.
What You Bring
- A strong commercial mindset, with the ability to think strategically, execute effectively, and deliver results in a luxury hospitality environment.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar capacity, with extensive luxury hospitality experience being essential.
- Proven leadership experience across core commercial disciplines, with strong understanding of sales, catering and conference services, revenue management, reservations, marketing, and public relations.
- A strong grasp of hotel business drivers, segmentation, forecasting, distribution, and revenue optimisation, with the ability to interpret data and turn insight into action.
- A track record of building trusted relationships with clients, senior leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders, while representing the hotel with professionalism, credibility, and confidence.
- A leadership style that is hands-on, engaging, and people-centred, with the ability to coach, develop, and bring out the best in others.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organisation and with external partners.
- High level of organisation, commercial discipline, and attention to detail, together with the agility to adapt to changing business needs and market dynamics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and commercial hotel systems such as Delphi and Opera preferred, with familiarity with Microsoft Copilot viewed positively.
