We are looking for an Associate to further strengthen our team in Singapore. Working for Business Sweden is a varied job in which you will encounter many types of clients and services, work ranges from complex strategic deals to smaller operational projects and clients vary from multinationals to small family-owned businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and execution of trade promotion programmes, assisting Swedish companies in establishing and expanding their business presence in Singapore.
- Contribute to business acceleration projects for Swedish companies, including market entry studies, sales support, government engagement, and stakeholder analysis.
- Collaborate closely with senior colleagues in business meetings with local clients and partners on behalf of Swedish companies.
- Assist in business development and sales activities for Business Sweden's services, including outreach and coordination of meetings with Swedish companies in Sweden and across the region.
- Develop market reports and insights on business opportunities relevant to Swedish companies.
- Provide hands-on operational, project, and administrative support as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in consulting, sales, marketing, or trade promotion.
- Prior experience in consulting or advisory roles with exposure to market analysis, client management or project delivery is highly valued.
- Demonstrated experience in sales and marketing activities.
- Results-oriented, analytical, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to take on new challenges.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in Swedish is an advantage but not required.
