The incumbent will support the VP / SVP of HMM South-East Asia and Oceania Headquarters (SHQ) so that The Premier Alliance operational function as well as the projects given by Principals can be carried out efficiently and smoothly. He or she may be involved in the global trade network support and coordination, as directed by VP / SVP including participation in new or ongoing projects. At times, he or she may also be required to represent business leaders in mission critical discussions in a local or overseas setting where travelling is required.
Description of Responsibilities:
- Provide project initiatives and support to EXECOM overall coordination
- Provide support to The Premier Alliance Business Operation matter/Legal/Trust Deed/PR Committee
- Provide coordination support on all trade's 3rd party SOC arrangement issue
- Proactive participation in business planning, JWP/FM, regulatory issues overall
- Ensure timely update to HQ and to coordinate all necessary arrangement in terms of The Alliance vessel particulars, dry dock notice and phase-in & out notices of all partnered vessels
- Identify opportunities to improve operations efficiency, productivity and service quality
- Liaise with all stake holders & regional offices to fulfil the regulatory & compliance of the business
- Liaise with Seoul Headquarter on updates and improvement for all administration functions
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in relevant field
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably with similar capacity for past 5 years
- Profound understanding of Shipping and Logistic industry
- Effective communication skills with proficiency in writing and presentations
- Proficient in English and Korean (both written and spoken) as reporting to Korea HQ is essential
- Strong analytical, systemic and problem-solving skills
- Possess the ability to deep dive into issues & details
- Able to multi task and work under pressure
