Responsibilities:
Support the Store Manager in developing and executing plans to achieve brand, sales, and service goals.
Assist in monitoring and evaluating the store's financial performance and collaborate with management to achieve budgetary goals.
Support customer relationship-building and satisfaction, oversee merchandising and visual standards, implement service recovery strategies, and ensure smooth daily retail operations.
Supervise, train, and support the development of team members in areas such as customer service, sales, and visual merchandising.
Help manage inventory levels, stocking, and purchasing plans to support efficient store operations and sales targets.
Monitor and control all operational cost to support store profitability.
Work closely with the back-of-house team, including Marketing, to ensure cohesive store operations and successful campaigns.
Support research and development of market opportunities, including tracking market trends and identifying growth areas.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store for customers.
Assist in the hiring and training of staff to maintain a skilled team and deliver outstanding customer service.
Candidates with B2B sales experience and hands-on quotation management skills will be strongly preferred.
Requirements:
Diploma in Business Management or degree in any field.
2-4 years of retail experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or assistant managerial role, ideally within furniture or home decor.
Experienced in supporting sales targets and strategic planning, with expertise in both B2B and B2C environments.
Strong customer-focused approach, with great interpersonal skills.
An engaging and motivational team builder.
Sound knowledge of retail management practices and procedures.
