Work Timing: 10am -7pm / 11am - 8pm / 12pm - 9pm
Work Location: ION Orchard

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Store Manager in developing and executing plans to achieve brand, sales, and service goals.

  • Assist in monitoring and evaluating the store's financial performance and collaborate with management to achieve budgetary goals.

  • Support customer relationship-building and satisfaction, oversee merchandising and visual standards, implement service recovery strategies, and ensure smooth daily retail operations.

  • Supervise, train, and support the development of team members in areas such as customer service, sales, and visual merchandising.

  • Help manage inventory levels, stocking, and purchasing plans to support efficient store operations and sales targets.

  • Monitor and control all operational cost to support store profitability.

  • Work closely with the back-of-house team, including Marketing, to ensure cohesive store operations and successful campaigns.

  • Support research and development of market opportunities, including tracking market trends and identifying growth areas.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store for customers.

  • Assist in the hiring and training of staff to maintain a skilled team and deliver outstanding customer service.

  • Candidates with B2B sales experience and hands-on quotation management skills will be strongly preferred.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Business Management or degree in any field.

  • 2-4 years of retail experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or assistant managerial role, ideally within furniture or home decor.

  • Experienced in supporting sales targets and strategic planning, with expertise in both B2B and B2C environments.

  • Strong customer-focused approach, with great interpersonal skills.

  • An engaging and motivational team builder.

  • Sound knowledge of retail management practices and procedures.
