Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Cluster Director of Corporate Communications, the Social Media Executive acts as the digital brand ambassador for both hotels and is responsible for creating and managing engaging content across all social media platforms to showcase the hotels experiences, services, and personality. This role involves strategic planning, visual storytelling, campaign coordination, community engagement, and performance analysis to enhance online presence, drive bookings, and build lasting guest connections. It requires creativity, collaboration with internal teams, and a keen understanding of hospitality and digital trends.

What you will be DOING:

. Develop, plan, and execute monthly content calendars that align with the hotel's branding, seasonal campaigns, and guest engagement goals. Create visually compelling and narrative-rich content for platforms including Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.

. Act as the hotel's online ambassador-crafting authentic brand stories, replying to guest comments and inquiries, and proactively engaging with followers and potential guests in a warm, professional tone.

. Work closely with F&B, Spa, Events, Housekeeping, and Front Office teams to spotlight signature experiences, exclusive promotions, behind-the-scenes content, and team member highlights.

. Assist in the execution of paid social advertising strategies to boost visibility, conversions, and awareness. Coordinate targeted campaigns in sync with room, F&B, and event marketing objectives.

. Identify, liaise with, and manage collaborations with influencers, bloggers, and brand advocates to amplify reach and harness user-generated content in line with brand guidelines.

. Organise and oversee content shoots with photographers and videographers. Maintain a high-quality content library and ensure all posts reflect brand aesthetics and voice.

. Track KPIs such as engagement rates, reach, clicks, and sentiment using Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and social media tools. Deliver insightful reports with actionable recommendations.

. Monitor industry trends, platform innovations, and competitor strategies to keep the hotel's content fresh, relevant, and forward-thinking.

. Perform related administration tasks and compile monthly report.

. Participate and contribute actively in all Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability initiatives organised by the Hotel.

. Perform any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.

Your experience and skills include:

. Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Digital Media, or a related field.

. 2-3 years of hands-on experience in social media management, ideally within the hospitality, lifestyle, or travel industries.

. Strong writing, editing, and content planning skills with a knack for storytelling.

. Proficiency in design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.

. Familiarity with photography, videography, and mobile-first content creation techniques.

. Strong understanding of social media best practices, KPIs, and platform-specific algorithms.

. Passion for hospitality, creativity, people, and digital culture.

. Strong human relations and influencing skills.

. Ability to work independently and take initiative.

. Strong time management skills.
