Key Responsibilities
Client Servicing & Administrative Support
- Assist with client onboarding, account opening, KYC documentation, and post-meeting follow-ups.
- Prepare meeting materials, portfolio reports, investment proposals, and review documents.
- Respond to client inquiries with professionalism and attention to detail.
- Maintain CRM system data integrity and support daily administrative processes.
- Coordinate schedules, travel plans, and meeting arrangements.
- Provide backup support during advisor absences to ensure seamless client service.
Business Management & Sales Support
- Work closely with Compliance, Legal, and Operations to process account opening and KYC.
- Track potential client progress and prepare internal pipeline reports.
- Support client events, prepare pitchbooks, and assist with business development initiatives.
- Ensure high standards of administrative efficiency and documentation accuracy.
Investment Support & Development
- Assist in preparing market updates, asset allocation recommendations, and product ideas.
- Source information from issuers or product managers, and participate in regional morning calls.
- Learn and apply portfolio construction principles.
- Participate in internal investment forums and contribute actively with insights and ideas.
Risk & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to MAS regulations and internal risk/compliance standards.
- Monitor account documents, payment instructions, and client activity records.
- Escalate risks and deficiencies in a timely manner.
- Uphold ethical and compliant conduct in all interactions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related discipline.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in client servicing, operations, or investment support (preferably in banking/securities industry).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) knowledge of Bloomberg/financial systems a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) are preferred to liaise with Chinese-speaking clients.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- High ethical standards with strong risk awareness and compliance mindset.
