Job Description
- Daily responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting to the various regulator(s).
- Investigate and participate to any remediation issues impacting existing reports.
- Improve current processes, procedures and reports including automation of manual processes.
- Contribute to trade reporting related strategic initiatives.
- Work with Compliance, Technology, Operations group and business units to manage enhancement and issues resolution, if any.
- Provide ongoing assessment and awareness of any changes to the regulatory environment landscape and banks adherence to its reporting obligations
- Collaborate with oversea branches and provide oversight on regulatory trade reporting for Korea, EMIR, ASIC.
- Participate in UAT projects and BAU fixes
- Provide holiday coverage for regional reporting on rotational basis.
- Any other tasks which may be assigned.
Job Requirements
- Recognized Degree in any one or a combination of these specializations Banking / Finance / Accountancy / Computing
- Minimum 1-3 years Work experience in an operations environment within a financial institution
- Past experience in OTC trade reporting preferred but not necessary.
- Meticulous and strong analytical thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and translate strategy to execution
- Possess problem solving skills and ability to understand complex workflows
- Strong communication skills and team player, to collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders
- Ability to think strategically and contribute to department and division wide initiatives
- Time management and ability to prioritize effectively based on the risk / time criticality of the tasks required
- Highly driven and able to work under pressure
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Proficient with VBA/Macro is preferred but not necessary
