ASSISTANT QAQC MANAGER

Job Description

. Manage and oversee project quality to ensure compliance with codes, standards, regulations, equipment-specific specifications, and QMS requirements

. Execute quality control basing on approved materials specification, Method of Statement (MOS) and Works Quality Plan/ Inspection Test Plan (ITP)

. Conduct regular in-process inspections to ensure works are in accordance to BCA's Good Industry Practice and QM/ CONQUAS standard

. Issuance of non-conformance report (NCRs) and monitor the performance of subcontractor for all trades to ensure defects are properly rectified

. Attend regular site meetings - to update, highlight, implement and enforce quality related matter

. Attend off-site inspection at precast yard

. Manage all correspondences and documentation related to quality matters

. Prepare unit defects report upon work completion of each trade and follow up with unit rectification completion

. Perform checks to ensure that the final touch-up works are ready for CONQUAS/ QM assessment

. Arrange and liaise with BCA for CONQUAS/ QM assessments

. Attend to project handover process to Client/ Purchaser/ MA when needed

Requirements

. Diploma/ Degree related to QA/QC, Engineering, or Construction-related field

. 3-5 years QA/QC experience in the local construction industry

. BCA CONQUAS/ Quality Mark certification will be a plus point

. Good knowledge of construction quality control/ assurance is necessary
