CNC Cutting (Laser & Plasma):Operate laser and plasma cutting machines. Develop nesting plans and CNC programs to maximize material yield. Coordinate with drafters to prepare nesting files.
Reverse Engineering & CAD: Perform reverse engineering on steel components using CAD tools. Identify dimensions, materials, and manufacturing processes. Recreate missing or outdated drawings. Improve production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Project Planning & Coordination: Plan sequence production (batch/flow) and coordinate with project engineers.
Material Management & Nesting: Manage steel stock levels (plates, profiles, etc.).Plan nesting for CNC machines in collaboration with drafters. Minimize scrap through optimized nesting strategies.
Door Fabrication Supervision: Supervise full door fabrication process (cutting, forming, welding, assembly).Plan and manage delivery schedules for finished doors.
Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC): Inspect cut materials for dimensional accuracy, edge quality, and surface defects. Ensure fabricated doors and components meet specifications. Maintain quality records and address non-conformances.
Client Coordination & Delivery: Arrange product delivery in coordination with clients. Communicate delivery timelines and resolve client quality or scheduling issues
Job Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum 3 years Production Engineer experience in SG
Provide advice on design issues related to technical guidelines.
Liaise with authorities and building management, other contractors and third parties to achieve uniformity of work.
