Role Description:

The Assistant Project Manager will support the project management team in the planning, execution, and delivery of projects across various departments. This role involves assisting with the coordination of project schedules, resources, and stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. The Assistant Project Manager will help track project progress, monitor risks, and communicate updates to team members and senior management. Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining project documentation, preparing project reports, conducting research, and assisting in the management of budgets and timelines. The Assistant Project Manager will also support the identification of project risks and help implement solutions to mitigate those risks. This position offers a great opportunity to develop project management skills, work in a collaborative environment, and contribute to the successful completion of a variety of projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello) is a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to track and report on project metrics.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and interact with a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Understanding of project management principles and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is a plus.
  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a strong willingness to learn and contribute to project success.
  • Prior internship or experience in project management, coordination, or similar roles is an advantage.
