About Immunology Translational Research Program
The Immunology Translational Research Program (ITRP) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) is driven by a vision to transform medicine through immunological research and a mission to advance collaborative, cutting-edge science that harnesses the immune system to improve human health. Grounded in the belief that a deep understanding of immune mechanisms is essential for preventing, diagnosing, and treating disease, ITRP fosters a highly collaborative and interdisciplinary environment where scientists and clinicians work together to generate impactful discoveries. Looking ahead, ITRP aims to establish itself as a leading centre for immunology in Southeast Asia by strengthening cross-institutional collaboration, partnering with hospitals to bring research from bench to bedside, and attracting and training the next generation of immunologists and clinician-scientists. Through these efforts, the programme strives to deliver meaningful advances that benefit patients and public health across the region.
