Assistant Production Manager

Job Decription:

• Assist the Production Manager in planning, organizing, and monitoring production schedules to meet daily output targets.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of production workers to ensure smooth workflow and optimal productivity.
• Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes or disruptions.
• Ensure all manufacturing operations comply with company quality standards, safety policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime and wastage.
• Collaborate with quality, maintenance, and warehouse teams to ensure end-to-end operational efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist in training, guiding, and evaluating production staff to improve skills and performance.
• Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.
• Handle any other production-related tasks or ad hoc duties as assigned by the Engineering Director.

Requirement:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role.
• Strong understanding of production planning, machine operations, and manufacturing best practices.
