Support the Production Manager in leading day-to-day processing operations, ensuring production schedules are met and standards are exceeded.
Assist in monitoring fiscal performance measures and ensuring production operates within financial and operational controls.
Monitor day-to-day ground floor operations to ensure the operation is smooth and meets the production schedule and achieve optimised production efficiencies.
Conduct or support daily team briefings regarding production targets, quality requirements, safety, and process updates.
Supervise and guide production workers, ensuring daily production targets, safety practices, and quality standards are achieved.
Assist in BOM recipe management, liaising with procurement, sales, and production teams to achieve specification and costing targets.
Ensure and maintain the raw materials, in-process products, and final product quality standards are in accordance standard specification.
Support production planning to maintain inventory within minimum/maximum levels and coordinate with procurement for raw material forecasting.
Ensure full compliance to operating controls, SOPs, policies, procedures, Halal, HACCP, FSSC 22000 Standards, Workplace Safety Management System.
Assist in tracking production output levels, inventory management, and regular stock-taking activities.
Maintain proper documentation for traceability, inventory control, and certification compliance.
Identify potential issues and escalate them to the Production Manager / Head of Processing while working on preventive measures.
Liaise with QA on quality-related activities and support internal/external audits
Participate in audit reviews and contribute ideas for continuous improvement in efficiency, hygiene, cost reduction, and staff welfare.
Act as a deputy to the Production Manager when required.
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma or its equivalent
Well converse in English & Mandarin will be an advantage
3-5 years of experience in food production or processing operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
Knowledge of butchery and meat cuts is advantageous
Familiarity with F&B certifications (Halal, HACCP, BizSafe, FSSC 22000) preferred
Strong team player with the ability to supervise, motivate, and guide staff
Good problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
Hands-on, proactive, and able to perform under pressure
Positive working attitude and able to handle stress
