Assistant Plant Manager (Bakery)

Basic information:

• 44 hours per week
• Location: Tuas
• Salary UP $6000

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily bakery plant operations to ensure efficient production, on-time delivery, and minimal downtime.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate production activities to meet customer demand and optimize output.
• Ensure quality, hygiene, and food safety compliance in line with HACCP, GMP, and company standards.
• Lead and manage production staff, including training, performance reviews, and maintaining a positive work environment.
• Monitor inventory of raw materials and packaging, coordinating with procurement for timely replenishment.
• Ensure equipment maintenance and workplace safety, conducting regular inspections and safety briefings.
• Track and manage production KPIs (efficiency, waste, downtime) to control costs and improve performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and adopt best industry practices.
