Assistant Manufacturing Supervisor, Production

• To lead a team of workforce in the assembly of products to meet quality, cost , delivery and responsiveness requirements
• Responsible for quality of outgoing product to meet customer's requirements and be an active member of Materials Review Board Process
• Lead the team to meet and improve on the First Time Quality
• Participate and contribute in resolving process-related quality issues
• Lead the team in meeting both daily schedules/ customers delivery schedules
• Lead the team in meeting total product cycle time goals
• Lead the team to meet yield and scrap targets
• Maximize labour efficiency through implementing lean concepts
• Lead in controlling operating cost to meet budget targets
• Reskill operators to meet multi-task job requirements
• Participate and provide resource to support new program builds and launch .
• Ensure system compliance, timely output and delivery, cost improvement, CIP, etc.
• Accountable in meeting Operational Effectiveness (OEE) / FTQ goals .
• To adhere to the Health & Safety regulations as set out by the EHS Department and any other Government regulations.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control
• Familiarity with safety standards and compliance requirements
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and extend beyond working hours if required
• Basic computer skills (MS Office,systems).
