Job Description:

Our client, an F&B company, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Manager, Quality Assurance (QA) to oversee food quality and safety processes at our Central Kitchen. This role plays a vital part in ensuring all food products meet regulatory and internal standards while supporting continuous improvement and product development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the overall quality and food safety standards at the Central Kitchen.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal requirements for food quality and hygiene.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly review food safety and quality assurance policies.
  • Conduct and manage regular internal audits and inspections.
  • Maintain and enhance existing quality control systems and procedures.
  • Investigate and follow up on customer feedback related to food quality.
  • Validate that all food products are produced in compliance with established QA protocols.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Monitor production quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, NEA, and AVA guidelines at all stages of production.
  • Supervise and support QA activities across production teams.
  • Assist in product and process development, including food tasting sessions.
  • Support R&D functions in new product and process innovation.
  • Perform other QA-related duties as assigned by the Chief QA Officer or QA Manager.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Food Science & Technology or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of relevant QA experience in the food manufacturing or F&B industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations (HACCP, NEA, AVA).
  • Hands-on experience in quality audits, documentation, and compliance processes.
  • Good communication skills in both English and Chinese (to liaise with internal teams and vendors).
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
