Posting Start Date: 21/04/2026

Job Description

About the role

You will be the operational lead for a portfolio of Graduate Diploma programmes — from Child and Adolescent Health to Palliative Medicine — training Singapore's practising clinicians. End-to-end ownership means steering planning, administration, examinations, and continuous improvement while managing and mentoring a small, dedicated team.

Two new programmes launch in AY26, and you'll also co-lead marketing and outreach to expand DGMS reach across digital learning platforms. No two days look the same.

What you'll do

  • Lead the Graduate Diploma Team across 8+ programmes, including the incoming GDip in Primary Health Care and Paediatric Palliative Care
  • Guide Exam and Programme Committees on governance protocols; vet Board of Examiners minutes and reports for 100% accuracy in results and degree conferment
  • Coach, develop, and performance-manage two direct reports in an open-feedback culture
  • Co-lead marketing and outreach — identifying new publicity channels and virtual learning platform partnerships to expand programme reach
  • Liaise daily with internal partners (Finance, Legal, Registrar's Office, NUHS) and external stakeholders (MOH, AMS, hospitals, overseas counterparts)
  • Expect approximately 20 working weekends per year during examination and programme peaks
  • Responsible for coaching direct reports and resolving issues within the team.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor Degree in any discipline
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is advantageous
  • Effective Communication (written and verbal)
  • Problem-solving, and thinking on your feet skills
  • Supervisory skill in managing a team
  • 3 years of relevant working experience
  • A meticulous individual with strong customer orientation and multi-tasking abilities
  • Microsoft Excel (able to write excel formulae with respect to marks algorithm)
  • Working around 20 weekends in a year and occasionally after office hours are to be expected
