As an Assistant Manager, People Operations, you won't just be doing HR-you will be the engine room of our employee experience. From the moment a new hire signs their offer to the day they receive their first (and last) paycheck, you ensure the journey is seamless, compliant, and powered by efficient technology.
You will lead a small but dedicated team to take ownership of our global payroll, maintain the integrity of our HRIS, and ensure our physical and digital workspaces are optimized for a high-performing team. You take pride in building scalable processes, are adept at translating complex labour laws into simple workflows, and find satisfaction in a perfectly reconciled spreadsheet. You coach and empower your team to deliver excellence, while ensuring that our behind-the-scenes infrastructure is as innovative as the products and services we build. How You Will Make An Impact
Operational Leadership & Team Management
Lead, coach, and manage capacity planning for a small team of People Ops professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
Shape and own the roadmap for continuous improvement, constantly auditing and enhancing work processes, tools, and systems, and implementing automation/AI-driven solutions to ensure excellence and maximum efficiency.
Partner closely with HRBPs and the various People Centres of Excellence (CoEs) to ensure the seamless delivery of People initiatives and processes.
Global Payroll & Benefits Administration
Own the preparation, distribution, and reconciliation of global payroll, ensuring 100% accuracy and timeliness in salary disbursement, tax filing and social security contributions across multiple entities and countries.
Oversee the end-to-end execution of benefits administration, including insurance renewals and vendor management, ensuring precision and a zero-error mindset.
Employee Life Cycle & Data Stewardship
Manage the administration of the entire employee life cycle, including onboarding logistics, work pass applications/renewals, contract management, benefits enrollment, and offboarding, balancing rigorous operational discipline with a warm, positive employee experience.
Act as the primary administrator for our HRIS, maintaining impeccable data accuracy, integrating new features as they are launched, and leveraging insights to drive people-centric decisions.
Policy & Compliance
Maintain and update the Employee Handbook and operational policies, ensuring they remain accurate, culturally aligned, and consistently applied across the organization.
Act as the guardian of legal compliance, staying ahead of labour laws, tax regulations, and statutory filing requirements in all operating jurisdictions, and translating changes into simple, actionable internal workflows before they take effect.
Support internal and external audits related to payroll, benefits, and employee records, while regularly auditing employment agreements, internal systems, and practices to mitigate business risks and ensure 100% statutory compliance.
IT & Workplace Operations
Oversee our digital workplace operations to ensure a secure and productive environment, including maintaining IT management policies, procuring and managing IT hardware assets and SaaS licenses, IT onboarding/offboarding and basic troubleshooting via a vendor or in-house IT operations.
Ensure our physical workplace is conducive and safe, managing office-related policies, vendor relationships (utilities, supplies, insurance) and general office operations to provide a conducive, friction-free environment for our team.
What Makes You A Great Fit
You have a proven track record in People Operations, including:
Payroll & Regulatory Precision: You have a strong grasp of labour laws in Singapore and/or any of our operating markets (and can quickly build familiarity with the rest). You possess an eagle eye for detail, can independently manage complex payroll cycles and translate new regulations into simple, actionable internal workflows, to ensure strong legal compliance.
Full-Cycle Lifecycle Management: You are an expert at balancing high-stakes monthly deliverables (like payroll) with the smooth execution of onboarding and offboarding. You ensure every touchpoint in the employee journey is handled with both operational discipline and a desire to provide a positive employee experience.
HR Tech & Data Proficiency: You are comfortable managing HR tech stacks, from HRIS configurations, to IT assets and MDM solutions. You are proficient in Excel/Google Sheets, capable of performing complex data audits and maintaining a single source of truth.
Operational Execution & Process Improvement: You don't just follow a manual you look for ways to make things better. You have a proven ability to identify bottlenecks and automate manual tasks, ensuring functional excellence and efficient daily operations. You are curious about how AI can transform People Operations and take steps to experiment in this space.
Adaptive & Collaborative Problem Solving: You approach problems with a calm, figure-it-out mentality. You are comfortable working across cultures and can communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders to keep operations running smoothly.
Emerging Leadership & High Integrity: You are ready to step into a leadership role, with the ability to coach junior team members and assist with capacity planning. You act as a disciplined advocate for company policies while handling sensitive data with the utmost discretion.
