Summary

We are searching for a passionate and experienced Assistant Manager, Market Development & Media Planning to support the execution of market strategies, digital media plans, and partnership initiatives across multiple markets. You will be part of the Performance Marketing, Market Development & CRM team, helping out while our team mate goes on maternity leave!

Responsibilities

Market Development & GTM Support

  • Lead the planning and execution of GoToMarket (GTM) strategies for assigned markets, ensuring alignment with growth priorities.
  • Oversee market insights and competitive analyses, translating findings into actionable strategies.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to crossfunctional partners (Performance, CRM, Partnerships, Sales) as part of campaign planning.
  • Manage and maintain project and team budgets
  • Oversee project timelines and implementation dates, ensuring timely delivery of all projects as planned

Media Planning & Campaign Execution

  • Develop media plans across digital, social, and traditional channels, ensuring strategic coherence and budget effectiveness.
  • Manage relationships with media agencies, ensuring excellence in briefings, timelines, asset delivery, and campaign implementation.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide optimisation recommendations to meet KPIs and maximise ROAS.
  • Ensure all post-campaign analyses are delivered with high quality and clear strategic implications.

Marketing Partner Management

  • Be the strategic lead for tourism boards, airport authorities and other related industry partners from a marketing front.
  • Oversee the planning, negotiation, and delivery of joint campaigns, ensuring brand alignment, ROI accountability, and strong collaborative partnerships.
  • Ensure all partnership workstreams, approvals, and deliverables are managed effectively by the team.

People Management

  • Manage and mentor junior team members, providing coaching, workflow direction, and performance feedback
  • Allocate resources, delegate tasks effectively, and ensure team members deliver high-quality work.
  • Promote a positive, collaborative team culture with clear expectations and operational discipline.
  • Elevate team capabilities by nurturing skill development in media planning, campaign management and partnership handling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 7+ years of direct experience in marketing, media planning, market development, or related roles
