We are seeking an Assistant Manager/Manager for the Procurement Team.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures to support the REIT's asset, property, and project management functions
- Manage the full procurement cycle, including tendering, evaluation, contract negotiation, award, and contract administration for goods, services, and works
- Oversee procurement processes for Asset Enhancement Initiatives (AEIs) and improvement projects, working closely with property managers and project teams to ensure compliance with specifications, budget, and timeline
- Establish and maintain a robust vendor/contractor framework, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, governance requirements, and regulatory standards
- Monitor supplier and contractor performance, consolidate feedback from property and asset management teams, and implement corrective measures where required
- Collaborate with property managers and asset managers to align procurement strategies with operational requirements, including defining specifications, scope of works, and renewal needs
- Drive cost savings and value creation through strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and effective contract management
- Support the preparation and management of procurement budgets, forecasts, and reporting to management
- Introduce and implement digitalisation initiatives and best practices to enhance procurement efficiency, transparency, and sustainability
- Provide procurement advisory and support to internal stakeholders, including training on procurement processes where necessary
- Undertake other procurement-related assignments as directed by Management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Real Estate, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably within a Singapore REIT, property developer, or large real estate/facilities management environment
- Strong knowledge of procurement practices, contract law, and vendor management
- Proven experience in sourcing and managing service providers and contractors for AEIs, facilities management, and maintenance services
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across functions
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and organised, with an ownership mindset
- Familiarity with procurement systems, e-procurement platforms (e.g. Yardi etc) will be an advantage
