Job Description

NUS-ISS is seeking a resourceful and hands-on Assistant Manager/ Manager in Facilities Management. The incumbent will be responsible for the technical management of our building oversees preventive and corrective maintenance, ensures statutory compliance and manage on-site service providers to ensure a safe, functional and well-maintained environment for all stakeholders.


Job Descriptio

  • nManage daily facilities activities and ensure efficient functioning of building systems to support business operations
  • .Evaluate and manage contractors and service providers to ensure compliance to contractual obligations and service standards
  • .Supervise contractors in performing preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring high-quality workmanshi
  • pAssist in budgetary planning and controls
  • .Manage end-to-end procurement processes for goods and services in accordance with corporate purchasing policies
  • .Plan and manage activities relating to maintenance, repair and upkeep of building's facilities
  • .Conduct regular inspections with team and contractors to identify follow-ups and ensure timely response to feedback and requests
  • .Maintain accurate data documentation and records of repair and maintenance activities and approvals to comply with ISO requirements
  • .Enforce WSH practices, conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments and ensure compliance with local regulations
  • .Serve as an in-house Fire Safety Manager and taking lead in all fire safety activities
  • .Undertake other duties as assigned to ensure facilities operational readiness

Qualificatio

  • nsDiploma/ Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services or a related discipline with minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in facilities managemen
  • t.Strong proficiency in building systems including AACMV, BMS, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and lift systems, etc. and in managing soft service
  • s.Strong knowledge of statutory building requirements, safety procedures and regulations and risk managemen
  • t.Resourceful and technically competent in identifying and implementing effective solution
  • s.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders and contractor
  • s.Willingness to perform hands-on tasks when necessary to ensure business operational readines
  • s.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within the tea
  • m.Flexibility to work on Saturdays and evenings in exigencies of servic
