Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Employment Law Support

  • Draft, review and maintain employment-related documentation (e.g. contracts, disciplinary letters, separation agreements)
  • Conduct legal research on labour and employment regulations across multiple APAC jurisdictions
  • Assist in developing and updating HR policies, guidelines and internal templates
  • Support day-to-day advisory work on employment-related queries
  • Maintain and organise precedent libraries and documentation

Corporate & Commercial Support

  • Assist with drafting and reviewing a range of commercial agreements (including management, franchise and service-related contracts)
  • Liaise with external counsel on legal advice, due diligence and transactional matters
  • Support transaction execution, including document coordination and internal approvals
  • Maintain contract databases and knowledge management systems

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Approximately 5+ years of paralegal / legal support experience within an international law firm or in-house legal team (MNC environment preferred)
  • Exposure to commercial contracts and/or corporate transactions
  • Experience in employment law matters would be advantageous
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented, proactive and able to work both independently and collaboratively
  • A legal diploma or equivalent qualification (law degree is a plus but not essential)
