Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Legal Counsel to join our Singapore team. In this role, you will provide legal support for our operations, corporate matters, commercial transactions, data centre development projects, and regional business activities across Asia. This includes reviewing and drafting contracts, advising on regulatory compliance, managing corporate governance matters, and supporting crossborder legal work.
The ideal candidate has strong grounding in Singapore corporate and commercial law, experience in crossborder transactions, and the ability to operate effectively in a fastpaced, highgrowth environment.
What You'll Be Doing
. Manage corporate secretarial and governance matters for Singapore entities, including maintaining statutory records, preparing board materials, and ensuring compliance with ACRA and local regulatory requirements.
. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including NDAs, MOUs, service agreements, vendor contracts, and employmentrelated documentation.
. Provide support for regional M&A, JV, and investment transactions, including due diligence, documentation review, and regulatory considerations.
. Advise internal stakeholders on Singapore legal, regulatory, and compliance matters relevant to data centre development, commercial operations, and real estate/technical contracts as needed.
. Work closely with internal teams (Projects, Operations, HR, Finance, Commercial) to identify legal risks and propose practical mitigation strategies.
. Support crossborder legal work across Asia, coordinating with external counsel where required.
. Monitor and interpret regulatory developments in Singapore (e.g., PDPA, employment laws, constructionrelated regulations, sectorspecific compliance).
. Develop internal legal templates, policies, and playbooks to enhance operational efficiency.
What We're Looking For
. Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognised university.
. Admission to the Singapore Bar (Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore) preferred foreignqualified lawyers with relevant Singapore experience may also be considered.
. Minimum 4-6 years of relevant legal experience gained in a reputable law firm and/or inhouse legal department.
. Strong experience in corporate/commercial law exposure to construction, real estate, or datacentrerelated matters is an advantage.
. Ability to manage complex matters independently with sound judgment and businessfriendly solutions.
. Excellent drafting, communication, and stakeholdermanagement skills.
. High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to work in a fastpaced and evolving environment.
. A collaborative mindset and willingness to partner closely with regional teams.
