Key Responsibilities
Employment Law Support
- Draft, review and maintain employment-related documentation (e.g. contracts, disciplinary letters, separation agreements)
- Conduct legal research on labour and employment regulations across multiple APAC jurisdictions
- Assist in developing and updating HR policies, guidelines and internal templates
- Support day-to-day advisory work on employment-related queries
- Maintain and organise precedent libraries and documentation
Corporate & Commercial Support
- Assist with drafting and reviewing a range of commercial agreements (including management, franchise and service-related contracts)
- Liaise with external counsel on legal advice, due diligence and transactional matters
- Support transaction execution, including document coordination and internal approvals
- Maintain contract databases and knowledge management systems
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Approximately 5+ years of paralegal / legal support experience within an international law firm or in-house legal team (MNC environment preferred)
- Exposure to commercial contracts and/or corporate transactions
- Experience in employment law matters would be advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented, proactive and able to work both independently and collaboratively
- A legal diploma or equivalent qualification (law degree is a plus but not essential)
