RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all front-of-house operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and adherence to the highest fine dining standards
- Possess in-depth knowledge of the restaurant's menu, wine, sake, and beverage offerings confidently lead team training and uphold product knowledge across all staff
- Supervise daily dining room operations, including floor planning, reservation management, and guest preference execution, to ensure optimal guest experiences
- Monitor guest interactions, proactively anticipate needs, and intervene to resolve issues swiftly, maintaining a calm and solution-oriented approach
- Oversee the pacing and coordination of meal service, ensuring accurate course delivery, alignment with guest preferences, and smooth communication with the kitchen
- Ensure all service protocols, including table clearing, resetting, and billing, are executed with precision and attention to detail
- Act as a key liaison between front-of-house and back-of-house teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment on special requests, dietary requirements, and service timing
- Enforce and monitor hygiene, grooming, and safety standards across all service areas in compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines
- Support inventory management for service-related supplies, including ordering and stock control
- Step in as acting manager in the absence of the Restaurant Manager
- Carry out any additional responsibilities assigned by the Management to support operational excellence and team development
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant managerial role within a fine dining environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to handle guest feedback and staff concerns professionally
- High personal standards of grooming, hygiene, and presentation
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
