Role Purpose(s)
The Assistant HR Manager/HR Manager, Talent & Organisation Development is accountable for shaping, governing and delivering talent, learning and organisational development strategies that build sustainable organisational capability and leadership bench strength.
This role contributes at a strategic and consultative level, leading the end‑to‑end design, governance and evaluation of learning, talent management and OD interventions. The role partners closely with senior stakeholders to diagnose organisational needs, translate business strategy into people solutions, and drive measurable workforce impact.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead and evaluate enterprise learning, talent and organisational development strategies to ensure alignment with business priorities and long‑term capability needs.
- Design and govern competency‑based learning architectures, frameworks and programmes leveraging blended and digital learning methodologies.
- Advise and influence business leaders and HR stakeholders on talent, succession and leadership development decisions.
- Translate organisational diagnostics and engagement insights into prioritised, scalable and sustainable interventions.
- Oversee vendor strategy and partnerships, ensuring quality, optimisation of cost, and alignment with organisational standards.
Job Responsibilities & Duties
Learning & Development
- Analyse and interpret organisation‑wide learning needs using business strategy, capability frameworks and workforce data.
- Design and own enterprise learning frameworks, curricula and learning pathways for leadership, functional and capability development.
- Evaluate and approve instructional design quality and learning methodologies to ensure rigor, consistency and learner impact.
- Lead and/or facilitate selected high‑impact leadership and enterprise programmes.
- Establish governance and evaluation mechanisms to assess learning effectiveness, behavioural transfer and organisational impact.
- Direct and manage external vendors and learning partners, ensuring delivery excellence and value realisation.
Talent Management
- Lead and influence enterprise talent management processes including talent reviews, succession planning and leadership pipeline development.
- Evaluate talent data and insights to identify risks, gaps and development priorities for critical roles.
- Design, oversee and refine mentoring and leadership development programmes to strengthen succession readiness.
- Advise HRBPs and business leaders on career frameworks, development planning and high‑potential management strategies.
Organisational Development & Employee Engagement
- Lead organisation‑wide engagement diagnostics, analysing trends and systemic issues impacting culture and performance.
- Design OD interventions that strengthen leadership effectiveness, team performance and cultural alignment.
- Partner with leaders as a change advisor, supporting transformation initiatives and organisational effectiveness efforts.

Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Psychology or a related discipline
Working Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Learning & Development and/or Organisational Development, with exposure to instructional design, facilitation, talent management, mentoring programme design and employee engagement initiatives.
